Andy Eisenberg
Sydney, Australia
Hello! I'm Andy and I'm an art director and designer specialising in video and animation.
Originally hailing from the East coast of the United States, I graduated from Emerson College with a BFA in Visual and Media Arts (TV/Video). I then ended up swapping the freezing, cobblestone streets of Boston for bright and sunny Sydney in 2009. Intending to stay just long enough to complete a double Masters in Interaction Design and Digital Imaging at the University of Sydney, I came to realise just how much I despised snow and decided to stay put.
For three years, I was the senior designer at National Geographic Channel and FX Australia where I helped build multiple-award winning campaigns and promotions for properties like The Walking Dead and Cosmos. Upon leaving NGC and FX, I took a position at Seven News in Sydney as the News Graphics Production Manager where I oversaw a team of designers tasked with the construction of graphics and animations seen by over a million people a day.
Since then, I've entered the freelance world where working for top-tier, national and international clients such as Google, NAB, Intel, Westpac, and the ABC. My recent projects have included everything from TV Series being broadcast on Seven and Sky News Australia to documentaries for the ABC to VR experiences for the Australian Maritime Museum.
When I’m not tweaking keyframes or guzzling down coffee while staring a computer screen, I’m usually eating way too much Thai food, adding to my encyclopedic knowledge of TV series, or desperately trying to keep my house plants alive.
With over 15 years of experience across the broadcast, film and digital spaces, I'm always on the lookout for new opportunities and challenges wherever they may take me.
